@ChanceyFleet Also worth remembering that Envision is processing text output while Be My Eyes is using images. I love the variety of approaches. There are other useful tools as well, like one that will grab an entire YouTube transcript and summarize a video.

Heads up to responsible AI folk: ChatGPT4 has hit Envision glasses (AR hardware for Blind people) and a closed beta within BeMyEyes (a crowdsourced volunteer sight-on-demand app). Expect a spate of AI-for-good pieces, + a ton of Blind people blessed and bruised as early adopters

@ChanceyFleet I’m disappointed at how difficult several articles purportedly for beginners are to understand. I read several search results just now. I can help parse some things, but I can also find people who could help simplify others if you want to create such a module for the library.
