When you finally start hitting your stride or get that big break and have rappers like @BustaRhymes calling you at work 🤯🔥it’s probably about that time to pack it up and move on to the dream job.
@JakeUno was still holding down a 9-5 while creating some of Hip-Hops classic hits until about 2006. As easy as it may sound to up and quit, it’s not that crazy to maintain a job even while you have A list artists tryin to tap in on your lunch break.
Sometimes leaving the safety net and stability that comes with being a W-2 worker is difficult, especially when that’s all you’ve grown to know. Which, is why knowing the music business becomes more important than the music 🧠💡Knowing how to transition out of the 9-5 to a 1099 lifestyle ain’t easy but it’s a lot more plausible when you’ve prepared for it past knowing hot to make some 🔥🔥🔊
What are some questions you have for @JakeUno about that transition out of 9-5 life into the music business? 🤔💭💭
@JakeUno if you’d like to share any more helpful info with the Network we’re always down to give those willing to give game a platform and stage 🤞🏾💪🏾🔥
