The enablers of the dismemberment of democracy confuse nationalism and patriotism. They confuse domination behaviors with love of country. When such values create a vacuum where dialogue is disabled the monster of cultural superiority rises. Wake up America!

Letting go is a practice of making a conscious choice to let yourself forget. It releases you from repetitive remembering.

My heart constricts more around Mitch McConnell than it does around Donald Trump. At least Trump loves himself. McConnell's icy obsession with control sends shivers up the spine. How hard it is to love the things that freeze the heart.

Instead of resolving what you are going To Do in 2020 summon up the moral power To Undo pervasive rancor, belligerence and contempt so that we can collectively see a path to communal harmony, sustainability and the deepest nourishment of heart and soul.

Instead of praying to God to liberate you focus on liberating God in you.

May the utter transparency of love be the truth that shines through all that is opaque in our lives and in our world.
