@PcPhilanthropy I had a Bosch, also absolute junk.
Repaired twice under warranty.
I repaired it twice, got fed up with it pissing dirty water on my floor. Scrapped at only 5 years old.
Seems even once respected brands have gone to shit.
I have a Miele now, last ditch effort at reliability.

Do we know anyone that’s had a positive experience with Samsung appliances?
Sally@TalkWithSally
I will never buy another Samsung product ever again.
English

@ClownWorld Correct, I won't go out to eat.
And I will let the server think about this for a few minutes.
Why the fuck ahould the server earn more than the person that actually made the food?
English

@YueKuratsu Used one for a long time.
Mine was white to match my Amiga 1200, SCSI interface.
English

@SparrowOat @feminist_tokyo They are anti socialist now, so aligning with a fascist seems unlikely.
English

@feminist_tokyo No problem. To be honest there does appear to be a problem with right wing japanese having forgotten their lesson in aligning with a fascist.
Seems like they need another spanking. Children need discipline after all 🥰
English

@tasokait @Mynameis_BLK Gonna need an international database for all these fun words
English

@Mynameis_BLK We have a derogatory term for leftists in persian as well.
Chapool
Chap means left, but also there is a colloquial name for crooked objects which is chapool
So we use chapool as a pun and derogatory for leftists, to say they are leftist and have a crookedmind
English

@Mynameis_BLK This post and replies are absolute gold, solid follow.
English

@romly2023 UK same.
Just like you we are forced to pay for it also.
English

This might be one of the reasons. Every news station here is basically left biased. What's worse than the US is that they do so despite the Japanese Broadcasting Law stipulating that coverage must be "politically fair."
So we have to dig X etc to know the different angle
ひな鳥(23)🐣社保削減@Anti_CP_Tea2
English

@HSGARAGE1 Lovely truck.
Could happily drive across the world.
English

@kasumi_girl UK citizen here, I think this is pretty accurate.
I have been to towns where not one place has a 5 star hygeine rating, in fact most have 1, and people still eat there. Why!

@CaptSchark @usovich I have seen this exact setup in a Jeep in the UK too. 🤔

@tMARr7g1nCGFu7f @ergdrsdtdfh @zundamotisuki Correct one is causing the other.
Everything a weapon against law and order.

@yoshi_matsumori I once ordered 100 packets of 100 screws, when I only needed 100.
It happens, someone laughs.
English

@jeremycorbyn You are a Fascist and a Nazi.
Socialism, Communism and all collectivist idealologies have every time proven to be spiteful envious destroyers of wealth.
Every time resulting in brutal authoritarianism.

I bought my honda for £500 with 70k miles on it.
I have put another 70k on it, 2 wheel bearings, and an air con radiator.
I change the oil every 15k whether it needs it or not 🤣.
I think electric cars are great, genuinely better driving experience, and hope to be able to justify the cost one day, but don't pretend they are cheaper or more reliable than a quality regular car, they just aren't.
This isn't a one off either, I have had two previously that both got to ~200k with similarly minimal maintenance.
English

@pkeijlewer You can buy a Leaf from a couple of grand and a Tesla for around 10, the only person that mentioned new cars or changing them often is you 🤷♂️
English

Why does everyone that criticises the cost of electric cars completely ignore the fact that used ones exist?
£70k for a Leaf and a Tesla? 😅
SubSea Fella 🇳🇱🇬🇧🇺🇦@pkeijlewer
@MotchmanJ Yeah. Like every body could afford 2 cars, worth about £70K. Are you brag about how much money you got or how much money you spend on renewables, as that is another £20K.. It seems to me your a bit selfish and dont think about less fortunate ppl.
English

They are correct, everyone overlooks and even mocks the american rail system, but it is by some margin the most efficient on the planet.
Rail is perfect when slow and moving heavy goods, expensive and inefficient when moving light goods (people) quickly.
Speed is pointless as the train doesnt even take you where you need to go for most use cases and requires multiple changes and taxi or buses either end, usually wiping out any speed advantage over other forms of transport.
English

I hate this. Treasury brain is going to nerf what is left of this project, and rail advocates won't defend it because the bizarre hairshirt thinking they have where they insist HS2 is not about speed.
Speed is a key property of trains. It saves you time. Time is what matters.

@Shoestring_Lab @TheChiefNerd The same billionaires who invented the spinming and weaving mills to literally get rid of the need for slaves?
Another Socialist Bellend.
English

@TheChiefNerd There is no labor shortage, that's just endless bitching by billionaires because they want cheaper slaves.
English

@TheSolarShed @JebusOfGazareth It isnt even the value generated.
Yoy cant bring return and cost forward, it is dishonest. What did it cost 8 years ago, and what was the electricity worth 8 years ago.
English

@JebusOfGazareth Good God, no. Dan and Rob cost a few days pay, the microinverters, delivery scaffold, cabling, ancillary items, company profit and more besides, all cost.
The post refers to the value generated vs individual panel cost.
English

@TheSolarShed @andyosb For free?
You just said you 10x your money in 8 years, so it's a no brainer right, right?
Oh no you are gaming the numbers and its actually a loss, hence them not being installed everywhere already.
English

@andyosb For Free? who's going to pay for that ? 30 million homes, and what would happen to the industry that employs hundreds of tousands? Were not public sector employees, we own and run private compainies with highly skilled engineers. SHOULD WE BE NATIONALISED?,
English

@P1Stak3r @dunne_insights Anyone making different choices to you is an idiot, got it. Maybe you could send out a news letter for this months product recommendations?
I drive a Honda Accord BTW, and you are still an insufferable tool.
English

@dunne_insights The problem is the American auto market and idiots buying these giant guzzling death machines. Just not a lot of people buying sedans. And unfortunately the larger vehicles are catching on in other places.
English

Honda. Wow.
First loss since the 1950s.
