Someone very reasonably asked: what about all the tagging and timestamping already on twitter? The aim is for a (semi-)automated way to include it all! But for now the Update Evidence form (or via spreadsheets, see docs.google.com/document/d/1mG…) is the best way to contribute data.

Just added ~1100 videos from January 6 to jan6evidence.com, including many from the first half of the day. To see just the Parler videos: jan6evidence.com/#/e?other_tags… And use the [Update Evidence] button to add summaries and suspect tags!

#SeditionHunters I need your expert eyes!🕵️ While I can time footage and pin it on a map, I am hopeless at tagging perps. I've dropped a batch of freshly archived footage into the Evidence Explorer with ZERO suspect tags or video summaries. So... TAG! You're it! Deets below⬇️

@OSINTyeti @SansaStark525 (Sparing you the gory details but as context: our backend enabled us to release fast without a lot of the dynamic behavior you might expect; now we're going back and adding that dynamic behavior in.)

@OSINTyeti @SansaStark525 Great suggestion! We're putting the pieces in place that would make it possible to do so, but can't promise a timeline just yet.

Site updates are not automatic, but we try to get to them as soon as we can. Do as many you as like, but don’t forget to take breaks -- this work can be physically and emotionally exhausting. Thanks for your sharp eyes! And please send questions our way. 7/7

When you've watched the clip, click the [Update evidence] button. Most of the form will already be filled out -- we need your help with “Which individuals are involved" and "Please describe the event.” Don't forget the submit button at the bottom of the page ✅ 6/

@jan6evidence Is there any way you can make the map view zoom on the Evidence Explorer persistent when the Evidence view is opened? Right now the map resets to the wide view when you bring up Evidence Detail. Would make browsing multiple vids easier. Love your work keep it up!
