A question I plan to ask my daughter every week: “What do you want to learn about this week?” She can pick anything she wants: Penguins, Elmo, how Vegas sets the betting line on football games, etc. 😉 Then we’ll find some YouTube videos, books, podcasts, etc. on the subject to learn from. At the end of the week, we’ll talk about what we learned. My hope is this will help her develop two key traits that will serve her well in life: 1. Curiosity. 2. She’ll learn how to learn. (Plus, it should be fun!)
