If you live in North Jersey you can have the Yankees shortstop's dad as your urologist and the Giants QB's dad as your plumber. They'll both keep your pipes clean AND know where to find the best chicken parm sandwich. What a time to be alive.

205 years ago today, three brave Americans defeated El Guapo at the Battle of Santa Poco to give Mexico its independence. Happy Cinco de Mayo to all who celebrate.

@VinceAndTmac @FanDuel Not an AAU story... but in that same era I played against Tim Thomas in high school baseball. He went from first to third in what seemed like about 8 steps and we had never seen anything like it. Guys that size shouldn't be able to move like that!

It’s 330am on July 5th, 1985, 18th inning of a game between the Mets/Braves. The Braves are down 11-10 and down to their last hitter. They send reliever Rick Camp, who had a batting average of .062. Beautiful call by legendary broadcaster, John Sterling. Rest easy, John

John Sterling lived very close to me. Never met him, but within the past year I was in a bagel shop when I heard that unmistakeable voice next to me at the counter. Couldn't believe how good he looked and moved at 87. Thought he might live forever. RIP to an icon.

We are devastated to hear about the passing of John Sterling, a WFAN and Yankees radio icon whose voice was synonymous with an entire generation of Yankee fandom. Rest in peace, John ❤️

@Keith_McPherson For what it's worth... If they handled Volpe's injury properly last year they never would've been in this awkward situation because he would have been healthy for spring training. And then we would've seen who won an actual competition for the SS job.
