Billionaire Elon Musk gave what appeared to be a fascist salute Monday while making a speech at the post-inauguration celebration for President Donald Trump at the Capital One Arena.
“Some elections are important, some are not. But this one, this one really mattered and I just want to say thank you for making it happen,” Musk said before putting his hand on his chest and then raising it in a salute that appeared similar to the “Sieg Heil” used by Nazis at their victory rallies.
“It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured," Musk said.
Trump named Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the "Department of Government Efficiency," an outside commission aimed at identifying federal programs and spending to cut. After Trump was sworn in, multiple lawsuits were filed against the Trump administration claiming that the move violates federal transparency laws.

@LauraLoomer @LauraLoomer while I agree with many of your posts you are off base on this one. The US birth rate is too low to sustain the economy and country without immigration. The trick is legal immigration of skilled workers in industries that are short.Still an America first policy

I see that Mike Johnson has been hanging out with Big Tech executives.
The only people who want to import more “legal immigrants” in DROVES while we have a massive immigration crisis in America, are people who want to import foreign tech workers so they don’t have to pay Americans decent wages.
About 1/3 of the illegal aliens in our country are people who came here LEGALLY and overstayed their visas and never left.

@elonmusk @elon musk @VivekGRamaswamy implement favored nations clauses into Medicare and Medicaid contracts. Same drug in the US has different pricing depending on customer and their insurance. Ensure tax payed services aren’t higher than others. Not US taxpayer role to fund cheap drugs.

Many health technologies wouldn’t be developed in the first place unless the U.S. reimburses attractively for them. But other nations then free-ride on us, by simply accessing those therapies at a *much* lower cost AFTER they’re approved for us. Countries like Germany, etc, need to start sharing the burden, or else they shouldn’t get access to the technologies. Can’t have it both ways.

@realdogenews @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy The issue is much bigger than the DEI programs. Go and look at grant and government contract requirements. The embedded employment and compliance requirements dramatically increase the cost of every contract.

@realdogenews Great idea - but if only abolishing personal income tax the IRS would still be in place related to corporate taxes. Would lead to many more unincorporated businesses to avoid the corporate tax system. Would require a rethink of corporate taxes as well.
