So I had the tremendous honor of accepting the Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction, Sports for our @NASCAR Studios/@Bluefoot_tv show “Home Turn.” The show, about Daytona Beach around the track, is so damn good thanks to everyone involved behind the camera, but the music choices by the great @timothyhorgan are sublime, and the support from NASCAR's John Dahl (pictured with me) was invaluable. (Link to the show in next tweet) Also: when you’re walking onto a stage like that, the mic looks like it’s about half a mile away. And thank God for notes, because wow, does your mind goes blank at @TheEmmys.

Argentina fans shouted, chanted and whistled right over top of God Save The King. Tension and nerves are redlining. This is going to be one hell of a battle.

The whistles from Argentina fans are drowning out the bomp-bomp-baaa of "Sweet Caroline." So if you're looking for a squad to root for here, that's as good a reason as any.

Atmosphere in Atlanta at England-Congo is unlike any of the other matches here so far. Joyous DR Congo fans, already-hammered English fans, so SO much noise.

Canada through to 16, Rush back on tour ... big year for our pals to the north

There's a more diverse array of jerseys at Congo-Uzbekistan than any other Atlanta match to date, not surprising considering it's the most "affordable" Atlanta ticket. Many more than the two teams playing. Oh, and someone's wearing a Bronny James jersey. Seriously.
