@DestinysJesus Only problem to what I mention is possibly queue times depending on player base. But do you not think a large amount of new players and old would return because of what I suggested. Knowing they can enjoy the game at their leisure, the option to anticipate remotely their matches.

@DestinysJesus Instead of immediately regarding how bad this player is which you are clearly doing @DestinysJesus and points out his faults which there obviously is some. There is ways to add sbmm, settings to make a more balanced experience for pubs. While also improving ranked.

There is no amount of Skill Based Matchmaking that can fix gameplay like this... Getting a Victory Royale in Pubs/ Ranked/ Comp should always be difficult and require some decision making (yes I know I'm vodding pubs zb clips)

Have you stopped playing Fortnite as much due to the persistent skill based match making issue? Have you completely stopped playing specifically because of SBMM? Please be respectful and don't lash out at Fortnite, Epic Games or any players or staff with your comment. I want to have a real discussion and hear real constructive feedback @Fortnite @FortniteStatus @JustTeddii PLEASE we need you to respond to the overwhelming outcry from the community about SBMM. It has felt non-existent since the bug season in chapter 6. It felt perfect in Chapter 5. What happened? A LOT of people are playing less or have given up the game completely because they will literally go hundreds of games without being able to get a victory. We the common player want a challenge but also we want to feel like we have a chance. Yes this is a skill issue. I am not good enough to be in the vast majority of lobbies I am put in with Fortnite. I love this game and it breaks my heart to see people leave because of something that could be easily fixed. I look forward to hearing your response.

Yeah this is one of the many smaller Quality of Life updates that have gone in to Season 2 to reduce friction and improve the overall fluidity of the game. Happy to see it’s getting noticed, and we have more to come! Please do hit me with what kind of QoL’s you’d like to see in the future, too! 🤝

@JustTeddii SBMM has to be looked at. Post-December it seems to base lobbies on the person with the “highest skill level” in the party. I can’t play with friends/family anymore (most of whom play on switch and mobile) because they’re put in my incredibly difficult PC lobbies.

@JustTeddii not sure if this is quality of life, but i feel like you guys should just make bot lobbies a toggle like zero build knowing how you guys are aware of them, and iirc have a mode for it from testing, it would make it easier for those who just want to do quests and explore.
