gearing up to hunker down. the 24" snowfall is due to arrive tomorrow morning. There has been a rash of snow shovel thefts in the area. sad.

First day back at the gym after a 12-day hiatus. Felt pretty good. Noticed the excess of tequila and key lime pie a little on the sprints.

1 day to Key West. I hope to get sand in my hair by Monday morning. :)

embracing the hunger. and breathing a bit deeper.

BIll has a cold. I hope I get it over with early so I'm not sick while on vacay. Kleenex and palm trees don't mix in my book.

It's Friday, and I have a weekend of outdorrs work ahead: chopping wood, spreading wood chips, removing x-mas lights...all in freezing cold.

@rosalicious Twilight was pretty good. Don't get deterred by books 2 and 3 , which are a little slower, because book 4 is worth the wait. :)

It's freezing cold in VA, but that makes me all the more excited about our spontaneous trip to Key West in 3 weeks!

I think I'll take the day off tomorrow to unwind, go running, do some sewing, write Thank You cards, plan for our party, and wax my legs :)

Wondering when my car will be repaired. it died on Christmas eve. it needs a resurrection.

Getting ready to run x-mas eve errands. NO gift shopping though, just groceries for our new tradition- Christmas homemade pizzas!!

Not exactly stuck in the snow, but taking a day to help neighbors and others still in need-- and wrapping gifts.

@rosalicious Are you heading to Chville today? What do you think of going out with Po and I on Tuesday night instead? We are both carless.

Already excited about GIrls night this Sunday.

I have several red patches on my nose- looks like baaad sunburn, but no. It's where the Clean Pore Strip peeled my skin off!

If I had thought of it earlier, I would have liked to get a Tofurkey -- just for old-times-sake. But I may have been eating it alone....

I love a 3-day work week culminating in family feasts, crafty capers, and maybe some deer-hunting hoopla....in it for the deer jerky, ya'll.
