@jesslahey @aliciaandrz I wonder why we don't see more of this book, this concept talked about? An ounce of prevention is indeed worth more than a pound of cure.

I worry all the time that my daughter will learn—if not inherit—my struggles: addiction, depression, emotional regulation. I worry I should've thought more deeply abt bringing her here but in trying to model health & self-love for her, she made me a better person, even saved me.
