You can't keep taking from generations that are behind (on a relative basis) and giving it to the richest and most powerful generation in history without consequences.

*Millennials have HALF the share of wealth that Boomers had at the same age (in 1989).
The fact that they're considering something this regressive is insane to me.

We had to say goodbye to our good boy Rocky Vizsla on Sunday. He got very ill very fast. He'd otherwise had a happy, healthy 11.5 too short years. We are heartbroken & will miss him forever. 💔

@alancornett @AmicableFogey Yes, both times I visited on separate trips. The cases go to locals (and grey-market sellers) who compete to reserve them. But the restaurant gift shop sells sixes and mixed packs. (Getting three of those and a bike with a flat back to Poperinge though.)

@alancornett @AmicableFogey Apparently it’s the same recipe, with a different water source and yeast—Westvleteren now uses yeast from Westmalle. The taste is so close, with the edge to Westvleteren.

St Bernardus abt 12 is supposed to be the same recipe and yeast strain. It is certainly very good.

Believe it or not: “Collect all the taxes lawfully owed” is and should be a conservative principle.

@asymmetricinfo His attorneys can only advise him on that. The decision is his alone. Frequently courts will run a brief colloquy with the defendant on the record to guarantee that’s understood.
