Tbh, I think this situation will totally changed how the selection committee views injuries for bubble teams. They said SMU was in based on Edwards playing. If it’s a toss up, I can’t imagine them trusting an injury update again from a fringe tourney team.

NEWS: BJ Edwards won’t play tonight for SMU against Miami (OH) University in the First Four, per a source. SMU is optimistic about his availability if they advance. Corey Washington will play for SMU, he’d been considered questionable.

Do I believe Oklahoma is playing like one of the best 37 at-large options right now? Of course. Same with Florida State and Cincinnati. Arguably, South Florida as well.
Is that how the decisions get made? Not at all. It's about the 37 most deserving squads w/entire Body of Work.
