Today’s been a struggle, but I’m trying to push through. I never imagined that five years ago at this time, my heart, my soul, my everything would be living her final hours on this earth. People say it gets better with time. It doesn’t. You just learn to keep going because life forces you to, all while carrying the pain of missing the person who gave you life.

No practice today. They’re back at it tomorrow, in pads.

@jdaboss24 I don’t think there’s an overreaction about C. I have questions about the depth in particular. I think NA can do the job but we still have to see the proof on the field for sure. But, right now, not sure the legit options for even a backup.

@john_keim Maybe I’m overreacting BUT if they don’t sign another Center after roster cutdowns I think my “overreaction” was granted.

Some notable names who worked out for Washington today: Former Charges TE Donald Parham (spent time here in 2019); QB E.J. Warner, son of HOFer Kurt Warner and two centers: Gus Hartwig and Trey Hill (spent 21-24 with the Bengals; 3 starts as a rookie but no games played since).

@Kb_WFT He hasn’t switched positions. He’s doing extra work after practice just in case he’s needed. In practice he’s only working at guard from what I’ve seen

Brandon Coleman taking a couple snaps at C after practice. He’s still competing with Chris Paul at LG but… the more you can do … and with Allegretti out a week or so they might need another player at the position (or even down the road) so take a few snaps now.

@jdaboss24 Glasgow wasn’t healthy last year and didn’t play well. Daniels had a pec injury that lingered a loooooong time and had an Achilles in 2024. (Researched them in FA; I wondered about them as well). Also don’t know their current thinking and what they want (the players).

@john_keim I think they need a guy that’s fully capable of taking starting snaps at Center just incase Alegretti can’t stay healthy this season. Don’t have much faith in Good-Jones or Gulbin to be that guy. Graham Glasgow or James Daniels seems like 2 good options

@jdaboss24 Not sure who you think is out there right now. Have to wait for others after final cuts most likely, if they want a vet to back up. If NA is out more than a week just need a guy to get thru this stretch

Also: will be good to see @DanHellie around this summer as he does play by play for the preseason games on TV, paired with @BMITCHLIVE30 and John Riggins.

Jayden Daniels does a good job of knowing when to turn loose on a throw. Can throw with touch but also has a fastball. Saw that today

Daniels did a nice job on one Play-action pass from under center. Turned and found an open Trey Burks to his left. Quick delivery.
