SECRETS TO LONGEVITY 1 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; - (Ecclesiastes 3:7) READ: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 I am 84 years old, I have been born again for 53 years, and by God's grace, I have been the General Overseer of RCCG for 45 years. To the glory of God, I am still working tirelessly for my Daddy even at my age. I have remained a strong Christian, and the church has continued to grow by God's grace. Over the next few days, I will share some secrets about longevity with you and tell you how to remain on God's path for your life without going astray. The first secret to longevity is knowing when to hide, when to fight, and when to run. Many Christians think that because they are in Christ, they never have to hide; after all, the One with all power is backing them up. This is why many believers have not stayed on the path that God has set before them and have ended their race prematurely. In (1 Kings 17:1), after Elijah told the king that there would be no rain until he commands it, it was God Himself who told him to go and hide. There will always be a time to hide if you are going to last long. Elijah had proclaimed himself as the only one who could bring the rain back, so naturally, I believe that there would have been a lot of pressure on him to command the rain to return. Therefore, rather than facing that pressure, he had to go into hiding. Whenever you notice that there will be pressure on you to say certain things or take some actions prematurely or without specific instruction from God, you should go into hiding. For instance, no matter how pressured I feel to speak before elections in Nigeria or when something significant happens, I always keep silent if God has not yet spoken. This is why people still want to hear what I have to say after all these years, because they know that it will be from God. Another time to hide is when brethren try to fight you. God never supports Christians fighting each other; rather, we are to love one another, which is what differentiates us from unbelievers (John 13:34-35). Therefore, to ensure that you do not get into fights with brethren who are trying to pick fights with you, don't respond to them; rather, go into hiding. May God give you the wisdom to hide yourself when required so that you can stay the course and fulfil His perfect will for your life. The God Who Vindicates His Children Pastor Ivo who resides in Houston Texas, sought the face of God to secure a job that would give room for both his professional career pursuit and Ministry (kingdom assignments). God indeed granted his request by giving him a job with a reputable company and making him triumph in his field. He had an encounter with God’s servant @Dr Pastor Paul Enenche physically to draw raw fire. By the time he flew back to his base, he got promoted into a senior role at his place of work. While he was on an assignment for God’s kingdom, in preparations for the Just Concluded Houston Healing and Revival Fire Conference. The enemy had orchestrated an evil plan to Frame him up using one of his colleagues to trade a client’s phone and drop it on his desk, making it look like he was in possession of the phone, and the penalty for such a misconduct is automatic dismissal from the organization. His boss chose not to believe the allegations leveled against Mr. Ivo due to the excellent spirit and high level of integrity displayed towards his job; thus, the boss had to double check with his influence for clarity also to ascertain facts, this lasted for few days At this point, Mr. Ivo and his wife took the matter to God at the Commanding The Day Mid-Night Prayer, and prayed like never before and made demands for the mantle at work in the life of God’s servant @Dr Pastor Paul Enenche to vindicate him from the allegations levied against him. It was as if God’s servant was aware of the case, due to the prophetic and judgmental prayer point that was raised that night. The next morning, Mr Ivo received a call from his boss with question “Ivo what kind of prayers did you pray” because the person who took the phone completely lost his peace and was under pressure to confess that he was the one who took the client’s phone. He was dismissed from the organization on the spot. His boss was so perplexed at how the incident unfolded and he said to Mr. Ivo “ Ivo there is no way you could be saved if this guy did not confess, is only God that made him to talk”. So he asked bro Ivo to tell him the kind of drastic prayers he prayed. He honored the invitation and experienced the move of God like never before. They have been believing and trusting God to hear another cry of a child in their home. This amounted to the decision to embarked on a journey to Singapore in search of solutions but unfortunately the challenge remained unchanged leaving both couples in worries but faith wasn’t altered. They both decided to fly down to Africa, straight to the Glory Dome (Airport Road Abuja, Nigeria) to partake of the ongoing conference meeting as at that time frame with their motive intact and they were privileged to pray with the senior Pastor. When they arrived at the premises, the fire and the presence of God was so contagious. They both have been on spiritual exercise (fast). Before they left, God servant @ Dr Pastor Paul Enenche made brutal declarations on the altar in connection to fruitfulness and they keyed in and Boom result manifested and his wife was confirmed pregnant.
