✨️ Always a great Leadership Commons session with words of encouragement and wisdom on how to advocate for our programs. I'm looking forward to interviewing students be Student Impact Leaders. @KedcARTS@KEDCGrants@DrJWEvansJr@KingWendy_m
Also a good day when learning from Jeff Urbin. He shared some great information about The New Deal and some ways to present it to students in new and interesting ways. @KEDCGrants@Promise_Leaders
What AMAZING support we've had from our local community on our America 250 project! So many people volunteered to visit our class and speak about & read aloud books about civics, voting, the DOI, and American symbols! Thank you so much! #WeAreMenifee@KEDCGrants@Promise_Leaders
Wonderful encouragement from @KEDCGrants@KedcARTS during our Leadership Commons Session Two today about promoting the Arts in my Leadership! Thank you for the strategies!!!
Advocating for arts education is so important. Excited to try some of the ideas discussed and to get my students involved. I’m very excited about doing Weekly Wins. I can see how beneficial it would be for me and for the students. #ListenToYourArt#Arts2KYEd
Great leadership commons session with Wendy and Jim! I can’t wait to use these strategies this week in my classroom and beyond! @KEDCGrants@KedcARTS@KEDC1
Learning about the important programs the New Deal put into place at local levels, the impact they made on communities, and the power of connecting with constituents through Fireside chats. @KEDCGrants @Promise_Leaders #PromiseinAction
A wonderful session with Jeff Urbin today learning about Roosevelt’s New Deal! Always exciting to learn something new and engage my memory about the programs involved. @KEDCGrants@Promise_Leaders
Another great session with Jeff Urbin from Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. The Story he told of the Horse-Back Librarians in the southeastern hills of Kentucky was my favorite. @KEDCGrants@passport2lead
On a @KedcARTS trip to Nashville, we were gifted an Ouisi picture game. I have pulled that game out for so many activities, inspiration, and brain breaks. The photos are incredible, and my kids love to use them for sketching, games, and visual references.
Jeff Urbin with Roosevelt Presidential Library, is one of my favorite presenters talking about one of my favorite subjects…horse back librarians! Had to be a totally gratifying job!!
