Thank you to everyone who has supported us during term 1 - we've had a busy but hugely successful few months! We hope all our families have a relaxing October break and we're looking forward to seeing pupils again on Wednesday 30th October.

Today our S1 pupils took part in Safe Islander, an educational programme where participants learn life skills that will help to keep themselves and others safe in the future.  Small groups of pupils rotate around a number of workshops hosted by various agencies and businesses.

In July, History classes were given the opportunity to attend the Ness of Brodgar as part of @HistEnvScot schools’ week. Pupils got a tour of the archaeological dig and took part in hands-on workshops. A fantastic chance for young people from KGS to engage with local history!

What a week! We have been really lucky to have had sessions about the expansion of the universe, CSI and how we can use green chemicals to help save the earth.  We have looked at sound, electricity, the periodic table and had our Molecule hunt.
