Vuori just launched a “cotton” version of their big Meta Pant (comp to Lulu ABC) 61% Cotton/lyocell/elastane $188 ($50 premium to core Meta) I think this is a smarter angle than the route Lulu took with “easy five” — which feels like plastic denim Vuori’s by contrast has no plastic, but for the elastane 1) Gives them AUR (Price) expansion in a core pillar of the business 2) Offers a “fancier” feeling option 3) Leans into natural fiber themes Biggest question is if customer wants it for $190.. but denim is selling at $200, so I guess why not?
