Delta lounge MSP. 2 hr layover on my way to Los Angeles. There are three lounges here – but this one by G gates is said to be not only the best but one of the best in the country. It's OK – spacious and airy – not that imaginative. This is the most interesting thing on the buffet

Delta sky club Memphis. I just saw this popcorn machine hidden in a corner – this bright yellow salt is labeled "Buttery Theater Salt". I'm not quite brave enough to try but I'm glad it's here.

Delta sky club LGA. This wins the most exotic food item on the buffet. I was excited to try it, but sadly, it tastes like spicy warm sludge. Between it being memorial day and the sinkhole that has apparently opened up on one of LGA's runways I have no idea if I'll be leaving…

Waited almost 25 minutes to get into the Delta sky club at LGA! Sadly, breakfast was over when I did get in…and I am not touching this shrimp salad! I'm enjoying the house Rose-- which may be SLIGHTLY better then the premium Rose. Its called FOLLY unfortunately!

Aeroméxico lounge CDMX. By far, the most exotic thing in the lounge looked a little bit too swampy for me.The white wine on offer was untitled, but it appeared to be a relatively insipid Sauvignon Blanc. I had a sip or two but decided to save myself for a bloody Mary on the plane

Delta sky lounge JFK -- Delta has FINALLY changed their premium rosé to a Château la Mascaronne--much better than the sickly sweet Le Bernadin that they had before. And frankly, their complementary rosé --a wine called Folly, unfortunately – is not bad either.

United lounge at CDMX! There is this pretty extensive self serve bar – but there is literally not a mixer to be found. No tomato juice, no limes, no seltzer, no tonic water…

United lounge CDMX-I absconded here to escape the alcohol free grand elite VIP lounge. There is this Sauvignon Blanc on offer – it is pretty atrocious but at least it is Self Serve my favorite kind of serve.

Grand elite lounge CDMX. The bar sadly does not appear to open for another few hours – probably when I'll be in flight! So I can't evaluate the wine. However, this is by far the most interesting buffet offering.

Grand Elite lounge, CDMX! This is considered one of the best Priority Pass lounges in the system – and I agree if only for this Apollo themed sculpture that greets you at the door…
