💙Tell me what you need to know about Fansly I am currently crowdsourcing data on the VTuber content creation experience over on Fansly. As a fellow creator, I want to understand the exact hurdles, frustrations, and confusions you might have when trying to use the platform. I’ve put together a form to gather insights and pinpoint exactly what problems VTubers might be experiencing. If you are a VTuber currently using Fansly, please take a moment to share your experiences with me. I will be taking what I learn back to the Fansly team. Please share this with your moots! Hey Fream! I’m not an artist, but I am a VManager with a laundry list of mental disorders that make handling work on a regular, predictable schedule difficult for me. While I’ve rarely had anyone I work with comment on it, my brain worms sure as hell make up the gap lol. I won’t say I know what you’re feeling, but know that your feelings are valid, and I’m so sorry that you’ve had people say such rude things to you. You deserve to work with people who are understanding of your struggles, and I hope that you find more people like that 💛

I know it’s not my fault for being sick… but it’s really rough as someone who cares deeply about my work professionally. Over this past month I’ve been told: - unprofessional - useless PoS artist - hope it’s terminal - refund because it’s not worth the wait Thanks 🤙

Today I was reminded of how you should appreciate the people you love and the family or friends. One of my friend, family member has passed and my heart goes out to their family. Alway cherish the people you love and care for. You never know when is their last breath.

I agree that intentional, scripted shorts perform better than lower quality shorts made from unintentional stream moments. Streamers, assuming they have the time to do so, should definitely produce scripted shorts with a purpose. However, I feel that there are several inaccuracies in your original post that this post doesn’t address. I think you have the best of intentions with these posts, but intentions are irrelevant when you provide advice that’s poorly worded at best and completely false at worst to people who don’t know better. Understand that you have an audience of people chasing a dream, and they look to you as a source of reputable information. You have a responsibility to provide them with that. I hope that you learn and improve from this situation, and I wish you the best in your future in this industry

A lot of people saw my previous post and took it as me saying VTubers should never post shorts. The message wasn't meant to be that everyone should stop making shorts. It's meant to be that people need to be more deliberate about the content they make.

we DONT have energy !! work/life balance is hard enough with a full-time job and one thing that makes it harder is believing that our hobbies are something to save for when we're energized enough TwT but showing up tired is better than not showing up at all !! ✦ 1 hour streams are better than no streams ✦ 3 consistent shorter streams are better than inconsistent long ones and yes we'll burn out easier than our partime//unemployed streamer buddies but you can't win them all ദ്ദി(。•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊
✦YUI✦@yui930_log

Vtubers how do you somehow have a full-time job and still stream all the time… like where do you get all that energy?????? If I work 6-8hrs a day I’d basically die there’s no way I could do anything else…

hi i see people talking about shorts, so here are a few things that help me! 1) only upload 1-2 shorts a day. 3 is fine but i say 2 is the sweet spot. too many makes them all get smothered in the algorithm. morning upload + afternoon upload is best for me! (though sometimes im inconsistent, so dont worry if you miss a day too!) 2) keep your tiktoks over 10 seconds. otherwise they dont get pushed as much. IG/YT it doesn’t matter! 3) EVEN IF THEY DONT DO WELL!!!! KEEP UPLOADING!!! consistency = growth, but everyone has a different journey, so it might take longer or shorter for you! ❤️ shorts are more for reach than $, so any views/growth at any size mean you are in the right direction! 4) MAKE AN INSTAGRAM, YT, TIKTOK ETC 👍 every upload of the same clip on different platforms = doubling the views potentially! it isn’t that much work at all to upload the same clip a few times!! so give it a try :D 5) i always advise people to upload stream clips (gaming, interacting with comments etc) because for me that is what helps you grow. but depending on the type of content you do, this obviously varies!! scripted content is okay, but if it is exclusive to that platform (YT/IG/TIKTOK etc) then they are less likely to check out your other socials in my experience because why leave. take this with a grain of salt, if scripted things consistently do well and views go up, then you are fine :D 6) thumbnails matter so much on YT and IG. even just adding text or a good screenshot is amazing. they do not matter on tiktok though 7) i figured these things out by beating my head against the algorithm’s wall. so dont be afraid to do unpredictable things or dont follow my advice. sometimes things just work LOL have fun!!! (all of this is what works for me! content is weird. so what works for you can be completely different. try different methods and advice, and see what you like!!! please feel free to ask me questions i love helping)

@LorranKangaroo Whether you’re a bad manager should be decided solely by the people looking to you for advice. Outside of that, you’ll just get people on Twitter who haven’t worked with you giving their uninformed opinion. If your talents like you and your services, you’re likely doing fine

I want real honesty here: Are my advices bad? Am I a bad manager? I hear a lot of positive feedback, but I also want people to correct me if I’m wrong or if I’m not helping, so I can improve. I’ve been seeing a lot of vague posts, and my overthinking mind makes me wonder if they’re about me — even though I don’t know if they actually are. If you have any feedback about me, my advice, or my services, please feel free to comment here. I will read everything carefully and genuinely try to improve.

There are a lot of good freelance managers, but vet carefully (there are twice as many bad ones, this isnt meant to fear monger just be careful.) Take your time and figure out if you actually need management or if you just need more practice and time. See if they know or managed anyone you know, cross reference as much as possible. Never go in blind, always read a contract if they want you to sign one (unusual but it happens.) Its your money, protect it

Hiring a manager to grow is a trap. Growth numbers only tell you how well a talent executed on a plan, but the plan may have been trash. The quality of a manager is seen in the strategy they define based on the talent they are working on, and the feedback they give to iterate.
Dahl💖@DayumDahlia

I was looking for a manager for a bit after I gave up on joining a corpo. The way I did research was looking at their current clients on sites like SullyGnome and the like to see if their growth justified the cost of hiring said manager. As of today, I still have no manager 👍

✿ Algorithms Explained (Actually) ✿ Algorithms are math equations that look for patterns in data. That's it. And your job as a content creator is to create those patterns and build a profile for your brand. Here's the part most people ignore, all algorithms are connected through something called SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. This is the process of linking your brand identity across platforms. If your name is EggieWeggie on Twitch, it should be EggieWeggie on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, everywhere. When you do that, search engines can connect all of your socials together and build one unified brand identity, which pushes your content toward the audience you're actually trying to reach. But that only works if you're consistent AND staying in your niche. Posting about cooking one day, gaming the next, and your pets the day after? The algorithm has no idea what you are or who to show you to. Neither does anyone finding you for the first time. Same goes for just retweeting fan art all day. You're not giving the algorithm any data points to work with. Every post is a signal. Make sure the signals you're sending actually say something about who you are and what you do. Thank you for coming to my TED talk!

@keyokku That’s sadly a side effect of making content with sussy/lewd jokes. The best piece of advice I can provide as a Manager is to pre-plan certain moments in your content that don’t dance on the line of violating TOS and make shorts out of those moments

I see talks about shorts as a creator but how do you even post shorts when every good moment is sussy or lewd jokes?? platforms immediately suppress or block you 😂
