16 weeks today since my Paul walked out of our home never to return,I function because I have to I have my ten year old so I LAFF,sing,dance,bake,cook,support,encourage,love,support her in every way,because her daddy has gone,inside I’m screaming,I’m overwhelmed with grief!

@Bradpittkin Isn’t the real issue that Derek clearly qualified for CHC funding & the process for getting this is so unbelievably contrived, biased and totally dependent on who you get assessing that even the most articulate and informed family members can’t navigate it. It’s not means tested

For those who are not good at maths ..Kate Garraway paying £16,000 a month for Derek's care = £192,000 a year . Which leaves £352,000 just from her GMB salary alone . I am sorry she lost her husband ..especially for her two kids. But please don't give us the hard luck stories.

@ImmyKaur I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s far too common. I was misdiagnosed for 20 years and a progressive disease missed. So glad you’ve got facts that will help you move forward and hopefully start to feel well and strong again x

No matter how much I said it my GP would not listen to my symptoms or what to check, I had to get private and get tests that are on my credit card, that have now shown massively clearly what I was telling them, I’ve lost 8 months, wasted so much time, and now I have to go back and try get them to listen to the private results and how severe they are. Listen to women FFS. It’s scary enough without this.
