Getting an insight into an artist's vision is one of the joys of my job. For Gravestones, Goldsworthy's gathering stones dug up by gravediggers to make space for graves across cemeteries in Dumfriesshire and will create a place to mourn and celebrate our loved ones.

It will probably be 2 years until Andy Goldsworthy completes his new work in the Scottish hills but it was a delight to get a first look at the site - and reveal the big new art prize that will fund it. Thanks to all involved.
