Making Wolf at the Door was our first experience of working with a proper producer (Mark Wallis) in a fancy studio (Soho Studios on Torrington Place). We definitely had no idea what we were doing but it was very exciting.

I seem to remember that my life was very chaotic at the time and I arrived feeling a bit jaded and anxious. By the time we wrapped, my mood had been totally uplifted by the sense of fun and community that everyone brought to the day. Tom Sign up: keane.lnk.to/mailinglist

I love that the video was such a celebration of those things, encapsulated in the performances of local clubs and groups on a seafront so familiar to us.

Sovereign Light Cafe is one of my favourite Keane songs - an ode to small town life and how you can drift so far from formative places, people and memories.

Video shoots can be long, trying days, but this felt different from the off. When I arrived the crew were filming shots of the horse galloping along the beach, and it immediately felt really special.
