Ok so anyway on this note, now that I have significantly more time on my hands, if anyone in the lgbtq health and/or substance use world wants to collaborate on any papers pls lmk LOL

The grant I was funded on got terminated on Friday, along with the entire research network it was part of (all focused on HIV prevention for LGBTQ+ populations). Should hopefully be OK in terms of my funding, but I'm devastated and grieving the plans I had going into my program

this work is so important and so necessary, and so many people lost their jobs, research portfolios, etc. I worry for people who were hoping to apply to PhD programs in the next 4 years specifically to do this kind of work--it's likely there won't be any money/grants for them
