Well come mid morning the weather had perked up so off I went in search of red squirrels in Llyn Parc Mawr. Spotted at least three different ones and also the woodpecker. Took lots of photos on my big camera but a few snaps on my phone #redsquirrels #Anglesey

A couple of hours spent at South Stack this morning ... lots of guillemots and razorbills but spotting a puffin was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Apparently they are there but only between 10 and 20. #RSPB #SouthStack #Anglesey #nature #puffins

This afternoon I popped along to Plas Newydd for a wander. I quick wander around the house but I sat a while looking at the Rex Whistler mural. The mural is fascinating as it has great depth and the scene changes where you stand to view. #plasnewydd #Anglesey #rexwhistler

Need post a parcel and some letters, way too hot walk so I jumped in the car! It was roasting, I couldn't hold the steering wheel. Thought while I'm out, I'll get some lollies ... the fridge in little Asda was empty not even a Fab lolly left (no one eats them!). #ukweather #asda

Trying keep cool indoors on a hot day, I've written a letter to my letter writing friend on this fancy stationery which was a gift! Even writing small I write far to much fit on one sheet but thankfully I was able add a continuation sheet and it still closed-phew! #handwritten

New Vic tonight to see Around the World in 80 Days. Great performance, great cast but the fabulous Michael Hugo was the star of the show ! Watching it, I kept thinking about Race Across the World ... took them 52 days do 7,400 miles across Europe and Asia 😂 #NewVicTheatre

Scrolling through TV channels last night I noticed A Very Peculiar Practice was on BBC4. I remember them filming it at Keele and using the building I worked in as the entrance to the Health Centre! It was 40 years ago! #keele #keeleuniversity #keeleuni
