Very sad to hear of the passing of Terry Yorath. A terrific footballer, but above all a good man who gave so much to the game over many years. Thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Terry

23rd August 1977. I was asked in HK what my favourite @LFC goal was. It’s hard to pick one. But one that was important, my first home game at Anfield, against Newcastle. Ray Kennedy put it on a plate for me at the Kop end. That was me up and running…not too fast, mind you!

Great to be back at Anfield this weekend. A very emotional start to the season with everyone coming together for a fitting tribute to Diogo Jota and André Silva. Best of luck to Arne and the lads for the rest of the campaign. YNWA ❤️
