this view really isn't for public consumption. it's more just to see the incoming stream from @github. this is what the raw firehose of incoming data looks like, we've eliminated bots (fake stars etc.) by only tracking the top 2,000 accounts as defined by the @digg AI algorithm: di.gg/ai/github -- next up, I'm going to format this and intertwine it into our home page in a way that elevates early signal.

It's really been fun to work on the AI category, it's messy, noisy, but nuggets of great news. It needs a good steady hand to sort through all of the chaos. Next up, we expand into several more categories once we have hardened this one. :) Alexis, glad you're on this fun journey of exploration with us 🙏. At the end of the day, while the site has changed, the mission hasn't. We want to really find the signal (human voices) in all the noise so we can defend against all the incoming bot-related chatter.

@DooByte @kevinrose @digg I did imagine that and it's not anything compelling. We can use our own personal AI to build our own personal dashboard and we don't need this system at all.

@j3g @digg the system was built to expand to any category, so that part's easy. but 'mistake' assumes a scoreboard i'm not playing on. 10,000 people using and enjoying the AI category is plenty, i just want to build for fun.

@kevinrose @digg I think this time around you're making the mistake of building a site that you find interesting and resourceful. digg is now built by AI for people who are developers building with AI. Extremely targeted audience.

Ask Claude to document and describe the main flows in your app and output in a single page html + json data file. Incredibly useful for humans and the JSON file is very useful for explaining the flow to the LLM when working on new features/bugfixes.

Yesterday we had an unexpected cluster split on @digg. So I built a @grok 4.3 judge with live X search. @grok is very grounded in reality with minimal hallucinations. X posts are sometimes very short, which is challenging for vector embeddings alone.
