We mean business when it comes to compliance. 🛑 Today in West Pokot, our County Coordination Office, in collaboration with the County Government, convened bar owners at Makutano Police Station for a critical enforcement and sensitization forum. Joined by the Assistant County Commissioner, Director of Liquor Licensing, and security commanders, we addressed the rising need for responsible alcohol dispensing. The discussions centered on: 🔹 Strict licensing adherence. 🔹 Banning sales to minors. 🔹 Curbing the circulation of bhang and counterfeit alcohol. 🔹 Encouraging real-time reporting of suspicious activity. We emphasized that public safety is a shared responsibility. Compliance protects communities.

📍 Sensitization in Mwatate: Engaging students for a healthier future. On the ground in Taita Taveta! Our team, at the invitation of the County Children’s Officer, participated in a Child Welfare Fund sensitization event at CC Hall, Mwatate. What we did: ✅ Conducted an ADA (Alcohol and Drug Abuse) sensitization session for students. ✅ Empowered teachers with information to guide their students. ✅ Encouraged students (Forms 3-4 & Grades 10-12) to join the NACADA National Essay Writing Competition—a platform to share their ideas on prevention. We're reaching students where they are, building awareness one community at a time. 🇰🇪
