@DisneyScoopGuy I will say---- Disneyland has a vastly different vibe and Disney World. Disneyland feels like a living museum with real historical significance. Because of that, Adults can appreciate it more. Disney World is a theme park that's strictly geared towards the younger demographic

My hottest Disney take is that Walt actually built Disneyland for himself specifically because normal parks (Griffith Park specifically) primarily catered to children and Walt wanted a park where he could play also. In most of his photos at Disneyland he’s there without his daughters. Walt built it for the adults

An old girlfriend of mine got so pissed off that I wouldn't use my hard earned vacation days to go to Disney with her sister's kids and husband that she broke up with me! I have exactly 1 week of vacation! Why the fuck would I use my vacation to go somewhere like that where we would have no privacy and be around kids that weren't mine all day and night? I offered to take her somewhere nice and romantic for just the 2 of us but nope! HAD to be Disney. Too bad, she was a great girl but her nerdy tendencies became too much to deal with.
