What exactly did I do to Nigerian police? It is the Nigerian police that kp@!ed my first son; now they have kp@!ed the second one. I heard from the video where my son was saying, ‘It’s someone that sent him; let him take them to that person."

“A Team Of Nigerian Police Officers In a Shuttle Bus Double-Crossed Us. Myself And My Husband, Who Is An Ex-Military Officer While We Were Driving In Owerri, Imo State. They Stopped Us, Saying They Wanted To Conduct a Stop-And-Search. Before We Could Even Introduce Ourselves, One Of The Officers Opened The Door, Dragged Me Out, And Slapped Me. They Ass@ulted My Husband, Shot At Him And Threatened To Kill Him And Nothing Will Happen. One Of The Officers Hit Him In The Face With Their Gun And He Started Bleeding💔.” #EndPoliceBrutality

To the IG and commissioners of Police in all states, Bad Apples Must Be Cut Out. Reckless and corrupt officers must face consequences, and more stringent rules must be put in place to ensure people who were selected to uphold the laws, don’t end up breaking it themselves.

I travel beyond Africa and face racism.
I go to South Africa and face xenophobia.
I return home for safety, and face police brutality.
All of this, just for being Nigerian.

We must talk to about how a police officer ended the life of a citizen in broad daylight.
No distractions.

The cowardice of Nigerians pisses me off so much.
A police officer was harassing someone; out of fear, nobody spoke up. The useless officer shot him déad, and there was no outrage. Blood on the ground, but people were busy recording because “e no concern me.”
Delta people will be making mouth up and down that “Warri no dey carry last,” but they shot one of your own and you guys let the vehicle go. I pour spit on all of you.

On the morning of 16 October 2024, at the Federal Bus Stop along the Ipaja Ayobo axis, police officers in mufti chased a young man until he fell into a canal.
The officers had stopped him while he was on a motorcycle. The bike rider left immediately. They searched him, insisting he was a “Yahoo boy” because of his tattoos.
They cocked their guns and threatened to shoot him. As he tried to move away and deny the accusation, they pursued him, forcing him to run. In the process, he fell into the canal.
During the chase, his slippers and money fell off. The officers picked them up and fled the scene when people nearby began shouting.
The young man was rescued and rushed to LASUTH, where he remained unconscious for some time before he sadly passed away.
If this incident had happened at night with no witnesses, it would have been treated as a missing person case, and his family would have had to seek help from the very same police officers who caused his death. It’s crazy the Irony in this; people who should protect you from harm now the prime cause of your dæth.
