#CycloneFreddy floods damaged water facilities in Chinele Village in Blantyre district. Today, the village has two new boreholes that are providing safe water to 400 people, including children, thanks to collaboration between #UNICEF and @cpar in support of @MalawiGovt.

In Chikwawa, UNICEF and partners are supporting a village hygiene project that has so far constructed and rehabilitated 12 boreholes, built 6,700 latrines and constructed five water schemes, ensuring 24,000 people in the district have access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
