ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa, stated that Zimbabweโ€™s economy is performing very well, with more than 2 million people involved in gold mining, a sector that is helping to support the national currency. He also noted that tobacco farmers earn approximately US$8 billion annually from tobacco sales. Ambassador Mutsvangwa added that these economic opportunities will help absorb returning Zimbabweans from South Africa into productive employment, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to the countryโ€™s development. ___________ Distributed by ZANU PF Headquarters:: INFORMATION AND PUBLICITY DEPARTMENT Follow us: Website: zanupf.org.zw Facebook: ZANU PF PARTY X: @ZANUPF_Official Tiktok: Zanu.pf.official Instagram: Officialzanupf Telegram: zanupfofficial

ZANU PF has a Constitution that prescribes how a ZANU PF President & First Secretary is electedโ€ฆ these kindergarten style analysts have no idea what they are talking aboutโ€ฆ ZANU PF is UNITED behind CAB3, the vote in Parliament clearly showed the UNITYโ€ฆ.
Brighton Mutebuka@BMutebuka

Chiwenga is in the biggest political fight of his life. He knows that the passage of #CAB3 sounds as a death knell to his political ambitions. He also knows his credibility is at stake if he doesn't mount a worthy response in light of the scale of ED's betrayal & repeated humiliation. His biggest challenge is that his network was repeatedly dismantled by ED & he has lost the sense of surprise, which tends to be crucial in such deadly battles. With ED's power of incumbency potentially decisive, Chiwenga becomes a sitting duck once the #CAB3 process is complete. The debate centres around how much of the residue of his embedded faction is left & its capacity to take on ED. Additionally, what realistic window does Chiwenga retain between the bill's passage & 2030? Coups are no walk in the park. With Muchena appearing old & ailing & prone to airing his grievances on social media & in newspapers, he will inevitably draw intense scrutiny from ED's intelligence apparatus, which naturally weakens the odds. The size of the group backing him & its potency remains subject to intense speculation. There are currently two political clocks running parallel to each other at the moment, ED's mortality index & 2030, and Chiwenga's political window depended on when ED will inevitably wield the guillotine. Another potentially decisive area of contention is whether or not the gravity of ED wielding the axe on Chiwenga will be as consequential as the situation was when ED was fired by Robert Mugabe. The answer to that question has got a bearing on ED's timetable & the menu of choice that will be selected to dispose of Chiwenga! Chiwenga remains a dangerous dead man walking, mind you he is currently strategically silent & weighing his options!

Politics has never been destroyed by a shortage of resources. It has been destroyed by the careless distribution of them. This is a lesson drawn from the decline of movements that once appeared invincible. The African National Congress, which liberated South Africa and governed with a parliamentary supermajority for three decades, watched its support collapse after resources and appointments began flowing through factional networks rather than institutional processes. KANU in Kenya, dominant for forty years under Kenyatta and Moi, disintegrated once its patronage architecture lost credibility with ordinary members and the public alike. The pattern is consistent: it is rarely the opposition that destroys a great movement first. It is the internal erosion that makes the defeat possible. Strong political organisations have always understood that resources are not merely economic assets. They are instruments of legitimacy, unity and organisational discipline. What is handed to one individual today can quietly strip confidence from thousands tomorrow. It is against this backdrop that the advice offered by ZANUPF Treasurer General Cde Patrick Chinamasa deserves more than passing attention. His call for business support to be channelled through Party structures is not a routine administrative preference. It is a diagnosis. Behind the measured language lies a hard political truth about what undisciplined gifting does to a party from the inside. Consider the cadre who has spent years mobilising communities, defending the party in hostile territory, and doing the unglamorous work that electoral victories are built on. When he watches resources land in a neighbouring constituency through a personal connection rather than a party process, he draws a conclusion - not about generosity, but about the rules of the game. He begins to question whether discipline, sacrifice and commitment still matter when recognition appears to be determined by proximity to a donor rather than service to the party. Perceived favouritism does not need to be real to be dangerous. It only needs to be believable. Once cadres conclude that resources flow along personal networks rather than institutional channels, loyalty - which should be ideological - begins to migrate toward personalities. The party as an institution loses its gravitational pull. This is where the hierarchy problem sharpens. When resources arrive outside party structures, the local chairperson is not only physically humiliated - but he is also functionally neutralised. His authority to account for what enters his area evaporates. The provincial member is cut out of a process she is supposed to manage. The message transmitted, however unintentionally, is that the formal hierarchy is decorative. When individuals become alternative centres of patronage, competing power centres begin to form - and organisational cohesion quietly fractures. The deeper danger, however, is what this does to political incentives over time. If visible rewards appear to favour those who are loudest, most controversial or most transactional, cadres begin to calculate accordingly. They start to reason that temporary hostility attracts greater rewards than years of consistent service - that provocation pays better than discipline. This is the genesis of political mercenarism: a condition in which loyalty is no longer a conviction but a commodity, held until a better offer arrives. Once that logic takes root, discipline becomes nearly impossible to restore, because politics ceases to be driven by ideology and starts being driven by transaction. The unintended consequences extend further still. Bypassing structures creates a culture of expectation the party cannot sustainably meet - communities begin to associate development not with collective party effort but with the personal goodwill of a single individual. When that individual's fortunes change, the party absorbs the blame. Resources distributed outside structures cannot be audited by those structures. You cannot account for what you did not control - and in politics, unaccountable resources are always a liability waiting to surface. Communities who feel overlooked may perceive exclusion where none was intended, generating regional and factional grievances that opponents will not hesitate to exploit. Cde Chinamasa's counsel is therefore not about bureaucracy. It is about protecting the party from a particular kind of self-inflicted wound - the slow erosion that begins not with an enemy at the gates, but with a well-meaning gesture that bypassed a structure. Gratitude is fine. Generosity is welcome. But both must move through the institution, because the party is not a favour to be distributed. It is a system to be trusted. And trust, once broken from within, is far harder to rebuild than anything an opponent could damage from without.

@KMutisi, Parliament can make and change laws, but some constitutional provisions are protected and require a national referendum before they can be changed. This was to protect citizens from abuse of power.

FLASHBACK TO MUTARE ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ At the 22nd National Peopleโ€™s Conference in Mutare last year, โ€œ2030 Ndeya Emmersonโ€ was more than just a trending song it was a rallying call that captured the mood and aspirations of many delegates. Today, what some dismissed as a mere chant has evolved into political reality, with Constitutional Amendment No. 3 (CAB3) now having secured the required parliamentary support. For supporters, it marks the fulfillment of a vision that was passionately echoed in song and slogan. Among those leading the chants in Mutare was Central Committee Member Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, as delegates voiced their support for the continued leadership of President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa up to 2030. From a conference anthem to a defining political moment, the journey from Mutare to today will remain a significant chapter in Zimbabweโ€™s contemporary political history. #2030NdeyaEmmerson #CAB3 #Vision2030 #EDWorks

However, when the time to deliver came after the vote , he only paid a handful of MPs. Some were only given USD6k, and the rest of Tshabangu MPs were told that there was no CASH ๐Ÿ’ฐleft. Some of the MPs even struggled with the transport money to return to their respective constituencies that they BETRAYED! This is the model by TEMU president.
