I keep saying when Alberta becomes its own nation, we don't want Canadian refugees - but I want to outline two key points: 1) This doesn't mean "no refugees," it means no CANADIAN refugees. No refugees from Canada. We might take up various humanitarian causes when we see it fit. 2) This doesn't mean "no immigrants." It means no people from Canada that burnt their country to the ground that then ask for a bailout from Alberta! This is the current model, and it's bad-faith and unsustainable! Please don't start spewing hate on immigration, immigrants, or otherwise normal people- that's what Canada does... not us.

IMO Private schools should not receive any government funding. If you prefer your children to attend private schools, pay for it yourself. You are taking away funds desperately needed in our public schools. Private “anything” should mean you pay out of pocket.

It was a great pleasure to visit the Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute to celebrate the incredible achievements of its robotics teams. I congratulated the students, their mentors and teachers, and supporters who made these achievements possible. Their dedication, creativity, and teamwork are truly inspiring. Earning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for the Inspire Award at the FIRST Tech Challenge Provincial Championship and serving as the Winning Alliance Captain with the highest score in Canada are extraordinary achievements. What makes this even more impressive is that this year three (3) teams are advancing to compete in the world events. This is a proud moment for Scarborough-Agincourt and Ontario. These successes demonstrate what young people can accomplish through hard work, perseverance, collaboration, and innovation. STEM education and robotics help develop the skills that will shape the future of our province and our country.
