There's one cool but possibly dangerous thing I want you to practice.
We are growing and expected to be the next movers and shapers. But how can we ensure our opinions are original and not affected by the noise, prejudice and sentients we see daily on social media?
Pending when there’s a lot at stake, when one wrong statement can get you cancelled, develop your original thoughts and be open to making mistakes and being corrected, leading to a paradigm shift.
How can you do this? When you see a trending social discourse, before you rush to the comments where you'll see a variety of opinions, note yours - share your opinion if you can - but make sure you share what you feel based on all that has shaped you to where you are at that point - your education, your religion and travels.
Building your original thoughts can help shape the kind of person you'll become in the future. It can be detrimental to chase after being politically correct or to accept the opinion of big accounts you like. Challenge their thoughts if you must; these things will build your character and sharpen you into a thought leader rather than a sheep in the future.
