We think Solana's early 2021 NFT history will be interesting to the future so cataloging the stories of the first 10 collections.

In fact, it's very underradar gem, it's the first thing that appeared on Solana at all, and we all can support it.

This webpage, created by @daniel_charp, the founder of @kreechures, showcases the very first NFTs minted on @solana. Before these, nothing else existed. What makes these highlighted NFTs particularly special is that they were all minted in March 2021. The buying process was entirely manual. You would purchase on the Kreechures website using Sollet (now defunct), and Dan would mint it by hand, emailing you the claiming instructions. No @phantom, no @MagicEden—these were experimental times. @kreechures were Solana's cave paintings, the big bang of the Solana NFT universe—the beginning of everything that has exploded over the past three and a half years. The floor price for these March NFTs is 12 SOL, which suggests to me that historical NFT collectors recognise their significance. The community is small, and while there's no active development that I'm aware of, Dan remains active on Discord. I hope one day both he and Kreechures receive the recognition they deserve as part of Solana's lore.
