Building a safer path to the classroom! Recently, we installed new speed humps around El Sereno Middle School on Eastern Ave. These traffic calming devices discourage speeding and create a more walkable neighborhood for our students and families!

Groundbreaking news! 🚲 Work has officially started on the Chandler Bike Connection! This project closes a 3-mile gap to create a 21-mile low-stress route from Chatsworth to Burbank.With protected lanes, and safer crossings, it’s designed to help cyclists move through the Valley.

New signals at Broadway and Vernon! 🚦 We’ve installed new left-turn arrows to help traffic flow and look out for people crossing the street. By giving drivers their own turn phase, we’re making the intersection safer for everyone.

TODAY: #Oscars road closures are now in effect! Hollywood Blvd (La Brea Ave to Wilcox Ave) and Highland Ave (Franklin Ave to Selma Ave) are closed to the public. Expect traffic and avoid the area if possible. Please follow all traffic officer directions!

New signals are live in South Central! We’ve activated two new traffic signals on Grand Ave at 27th St and 28th St. These upgrades include new crosswalks, striping, and turn pockets to make the neighborhood safer for walkers and drivers alike.
