As of 1 p.m. today (10/7), the trails are temporarily closed at #McKinneyRoughs Nature Park due to a wildfire in the area. The Pope Bend Trailhead also is temporarily closed.

LCRA will briefly open 2 floodgates at Mansfield Dam Wednesday morning as part of an ongoing dam rehab project. A siren will sound before each opening. About 56 acre-feet of water will be released per gate, counting towards our regular daily releases to downstream customers.

Floodgates at all dams along the Highland Lakes are now closed. Water continues to flow over the spillway at Inks Dam, which does not have any floodgates. LCRA expects to conclude flood operations at the dams today (7/16).
