Floodgates at Starcke Dam are now closed.

LCRA will partially open two floodgates at Starcke Dam Thursday, May 14 from approx. 8 AM to noon for routine water supply operations. The hydroelectric units at the dam are undergoing planned maintenance, requiring water to be moved downstream through the floodgates instead.

The floodgate at Bastrop Dam is closed. We will continue to closely monitor conditions at Lake Bastrop and along the Highland Lakes.

Governor @GregAbbott_TX & the @LCRA announced that the 380 MW Timmerman Peaker Power Plant is fully operational a month ahead of schedule. The Timmerman plant is the first Texas Energy Fund-supported project to come fully online & will have the capability to power >100k homes.
