@Larrypolya22@EdogaSamuel@JMWave420@CNN Sir, I pray your child never has a mental health crisis and that you never have to empathize with this situation because of lived experience. This man had a mental health crisis. There is a difference.
A 20-year-old Black man was experiencing a mental health crisis when he was killed this week after five Detroit police officers fired 38 shots at him in roughly three seconds, according to police cnn.it/3TnnxKz
@Larrypolya22@CNN True, he charged so use of force is justified. But 38 shots? Police arrived knowing that this was a mental health crisis? Why not have a taser handy? I know a similar situation, the responding officers used their tasers. No one died. Same situation, different outcome. Why?

@f_fjay@kendallybrown@stjbs There is a longer video where the cop calls in the license plate because he thinks it’s a car that evaded him days earlier. How does he know it’s the same car? Or the same driver? He could have killed the driver & the passenger. YES, another person was in the car.
@kendallybrown@stjbs Why are sooooo many of these cops soooo scared they fire at unarmed people multiple times but when there’s 400 of them on scene with kids dying and one 18yo with a weapon they wait over 90 minutes to act??? Just mind blowing!
Earlier this week, a San Antonio cop abruptly confronted a teen eating in a McDonalds parking lot & demanded the teen exit his vehicle.
When the teen asked why, the cop immediately assaulted & then shot him MULTIPLE TIMES. Cop tried to (falsely) claim the teen had struck him 1st
@CP24 And that’s okay. It’s been months since US residents weren’t able to enter Canada by air but Canadians were able to fly to the US with a negative Covid test (and still are).
Canada will allow fully-vaccinated American travellers into the country starting Monday, but there is no word on when the U.S. will do the same for Canadians
