Jurgen Klopp has this to say after the defeat against Aston Villa at Villa park 🏞️
🗣️ "Look, even from a distance, it’s impossible not to feel it. It’s hard to watch from the outside when you’ve spent so many years in the heart of that fire.
People ask me, 'Jurgen, what’s happening?' and I tell them: football is like life, you have seasons of rain before the sun comes back. This club, these fans... they are built from a different kind of metal. They don't just 'get by,' they overcome.
I see the struggles, yes, but I also see the soul of Liverpool. It’s still there. It just needs that one spark, that one moment where the 'Doubters' remember they are 'Believers.' My heart is no longer in the dugout, but it’s still in the stands. I know they will rise, not because it’s easy, but because they are Liverpool. And Liverpool always finds its way back to the top. Keep going, keep fighting, because you never, ever walk alone. Wake up, Reds! ❤"

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
🚨🎙️Roy Keane SLAMS the Liverpool board on recent decision 😳
🗣️“Liverpool’s board are sleepwalking into a disaster. Xabi Alonso is sitting there, a former Liverpool player, one of the brightest managers in Europe, and instead of going all out for him, they’re letting Chelsea hold talks while they cling onto Arne Slot like finishing second or third is some kind of achievement.
This is Liverpool Football Club, not a charity project for managers who ‘need more time.’ Slot’s had months to stamp authority on this team and what have we seen? Inconsistency, weak mentality in big moments, and a side that looks miles away from the standards Klopp left behind.
If Chelsea end up getting Alonso while Liverpool keep pretending everything’s fine, the board deserve every bit of criticism coming their way. Because years from now fans won’t remember the excuses, they’ll remember that Liverpool had the perfect manager available and were too weak to act.”
Liverpool have unveiled a memorial for Diogo Jota and Andre Silva that will be permanently placed outside of Anfield in the future. The sculpture displays the number 20 and number 30, for both players' shirt numbers, visible when viewed from different angles.
Today marks 7 years since the most miraculous comeback in Champions League history.
3 goals down. No Salah, no Firmino, Robertson off at HT. Against peak Messi and a Barcelona side going for a treble.
That YNWA. Pure goosebumps.
With the help of @RealChalamet, Adidas just dropped one of the sickest World Cup commercials I’ve ever seen. Literally everyone- everyone- is in this spot. I’m so damn excited for the World Cup to start next month & this just got me even more excited. This entire spot is Cinema.
32 years ago tonight, Riverdance. A period of years where Ireland became confident; success in sport, music, film, finance and tech. A little tiger was born.
Stunning. 🇮🇪
“And the sun shines now.” The moving BBC radio commentary on the Hillsborough Disaster by Peter Jones. He never recovered from the trauma of Hillsborough. On 31 March 1990 he had a stroke during University Boat Race and died 36 hours later (aged 60).
