The Argyll Senate serves as an advisory body, supporting the Regiment and its Commanding Officer, operating outside the chain of command of the Canadian Armed Forces. This sums up what I see regularly in my research about #cdnpoli and life more generally: A 28-year-old precarious renter whose RRSPs barely exist looks at Trump’s threats and sees chaos that is bad for everyone but not specifically worse for him than the status quo already is. VS A 67-year-old with $600,000 in home equity, a DB pension, and a healthcare system she depends on looks at the same threats and sees someone pointing a flamethrower at her life’s work.
