Would love to try a version of something like this in Ranked for Marathon: 1. Ranked Sponsored Kits for each faction that serve as your full kit and buy in, includes holotag. 2. Each faction serves different loadout “play styles” as well as designated extra XP for repping that specific faction. 3. Every kit would be considered compromised like a Rook (matter fixative importance) 4. Increase/add a few extra arms lockers around the map for “higher tier” weapon swaps (promotes hitting different POIs) 5. Each rank would gradually increase in value/buy in naturally and available “higher tier” weapons become available at higher ranks for much higher costs. 6. High roller ranked could be implemented every once in a while where it would be current system with no limitations on gear. Harder PvE encounters with all around better loot on the map. Hell maybe even have 1-2 key rooms be opened up that everyone is aware of to fight over. Gear fear seems to be a lot more prominent in Ranked compared to any other mode currently in the game due to how sweaty the matches can get. Definitely think this could promote it to be “more competitive” to allow new lower level players to hop in with less chance of higher leveled players just rolling the playlist due to the gap in gear. This should promote looting the map more, rather than just running down other teams automatically, to actually build up your kit on the fly and still get gear to add into the vault.
