Want to fix the tanking stop giving teams 7 years of controlled contracts. Take away the RFA on every pick inside the top 14. If you want to keep your young players put them in winning situations or they will be able to leave. Also the team will still have the power to pay them more than anyone else. Don't keep rewarding tanking teams good talent them force them to constantly stay in rebuild to cash checks

Well you can't just let Rui walk. I rather sign him & then trade him at the deadline than get nothing in return for 6'8 shooting 44% from 3 with a reputation of rising in the playoffs. To let Rui walk for free is bad asset management.
