Nearly 60 @LASchools students who are blind or visually impaired took the pitch at @dignityhealthsp for the PlayLA Adaptive Blind Soccer Experience, training alongside the USA Blind Soccer Men’s National Team. Acting Superintendent Andrés E. Chait joined the action, celebrating every pass, save and goal. Energy is building toward the 2028 Summer Paralympics as we proudly joined in dedicating the LA Galaxy’s first blind soccer pitch. Blind soccer will make its Team USA debut at the Games, and we’re dreaming big. Could a future LAUSD alum be on that roster? We’re betting on it. From crisp passes to confident penalty kicks, it was all heart, hustle and teamwork. Soccer is for everyone.
