@CQuill97 @D4hz4hn I could tell you guys don’t actually read comics but it’s embarrassing to see you guys don’t actually read articles lol. If you guys read anything besides headlines and tweets you’d know that the people making the show love & respect the characters.

@D4hz4hn Also this whole focus on just aestetics and the show not being "green enough" and how its actually green meanwhile god knows what they will do with the story and characters.

The fact they keep bringing up the fans is what gets me, I'd respect it more if they just admitted they were making a prestige grounded show for the HBO audience, and fans of more standard DC have a lot of other stuff in this same universe since they're going for variety

Chris Mundy on the “fan” reaction to lack of nonstop green imagery in LANTERNS: The aesthetic of the show, it's supposed to be very grounded and real, so we're shooting practically in places. We're not heavily green-screened. It's not like day glow in its presentation of anything. I think Green Lantern fans will not feel like we've somehow made a brown show of their green comic at all. It's very much 'we're in the world,' and then when we use the constructs, they're what people would expect them to be."
