Year 10 took it in turns to ask each other ‘Sut wyt ti?’ and then answered by making pancake faces to represent how they were feeling! ❤️🥞😊

Post-16 have had a super fun and excellent day rowing the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal as part of their DofE award. They each showed excellent effort, teamwork and sense of adventure! Well done, all! 🚣🦆

Post-16’s cake sale was a huge success. There were some amazing cakes on offer, thanks to the very generous donations from parents, staff and students. We have made £233. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us 🎂🍰🧁

In Term 4, Year 9 were learning about 'The Greenman' and the connection with nature. They each made a clay model and have finally finished decorating it and the frames that will keep their work safe and secure for many years 🍃🪴👽

Dosbarth Derwen have been designing and making kites. This is after a very adventurous kite flying session on a windy wet and day earlier in the term. Amazing designs and really careful making of the kites 🌬️🪁

Dosbarth Derwen have been learning about Earth Day which is celebrated every year around the world. We are learning to look after our planet and Earth is a day to help us think about ways we can care for our planet. We made a door hanger to spread the message 🌎❤️

Year 9 made some delicious scones in school on Friday. They were all super listeners and got tidied away quickly 🥮👩🏼‍🍳

Post 16 enjoyed a sunny DofE practice walk up to the Buckholt woods on Friday. They walked 8km, a fantastic achievement, and had lots of fun along the way. Well done to all the students involved 🚶☀️🌲

Year 10 have been learning about different emotions in Welsh this term. They enjoyed a ‘treasure hunt’, finding photos of teachers and identifying the emotions they were feeling! They showed excellent recall of key emotions yn cymraeg! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🥰
