Kingsley Coman "I want to sincerely apologize to our fans and my teammates for what happened in the match against Al Hilal. It was a rookie error on my part—I truly didn't expect the situation to end the way it did. Everything I do on the pitch is driven by my passion for this club, but I realize my judgment fell short in that moment. I’m not letting this define our season. My focus has already shifted to the game against Gamba Osaka; I’m determined to put the smiles back on your faces. We are going to push for a massive finish against Damac and end this season on the high note we all deserve. Thank you for standing by me. We keep going."

🚨🎙️ Patrice Evra on people doubting Michael Carrick’s style of play: 🗣️ “I’m sorry to ask, but what exact style of play is truly sustainable in the Premier League? I see people saying Carrick’s football only gives instant results and won’t work long term. Others say it’s just a ‘new manager bounce’ that will disappear once teams figure United out. But when you actually watch this team since January, going from 7th to 3rd, you can clearly see there’s a structure behind it. That doesn’t happen through luck or emotion alone. Football isn’t only about keeping possession and passing sideways for 90 minutes. Sometimes style is about control, discipline, organisation, knowing when to press, and knowing how to win difficult matches. Under Carrick, United look more organised, harder to play against, and mentally stronger in big moments. People need to understand that not every successful team has to play the same way. The most important thing is whether the players believe in the system and whether the results support it — and right now, both are happening under Carrick.”

João Félix on his missed penalty against France at EURO 2024 and the criticism he still receives from Portugal fans: 🗣️ “That night against France still stays in my mind. When I stepped up for the penalty, I truly believed I would score. But the moment the ball hit the post, it felt like everything went silent. Even today, some people still say I let Portugal down, and honestly that hurts because nobody wanted to win more than me. People only see the miss, they don’t see how much it affects you afterwards replaying the moment in your head again and again. Representing Portugal is one of the greatest honours of my life, and I would never disrespect that shirt. Football can be cruel sometimes. One moment can change everything, but I’ll never hide from responsibility. If that moment comes again, I’ll step up again without fear.”

🚨🎙️Kylian Mbappe on his relationship with Bellingham, Tension, Groups inside the dressing room: “I came to Real Madrid knowing the pressure would be different here. When you arrive at a club of this size, every movement is analyzed, every missed chance, every reaction, every interaction with teammates. I understand that and I accept it because pressure has followed me my whole career. But I also think people from the outside don’t always understand how difficult integration can be inside a dressing room full of big personalities and strong leaders. Everyone here has pride, everyone wants responsibility, and naturally there are moments where frustrations appear on the pitch. That is normal in football. After the Real Oviedo game, I saw many stories being created from body language, celebrations and certain moments after the match. I’m not going to exaggerate things publicly, but I’m also not going to act like I don’t notice when relationships become colder or when the energy changes around certain players. I have always tried to show respect to my teammates, even during periods where results were difficult and the criticism was very strong. When some players were under pressure from fans earlier in the season, I defended them because I believe teammates should protect each other publicly. That’s my mentality. Of course, in football there are different personalities. Some players are very emotional, some are direct, some prefer to lead by speaking loudly, others lead differently. Sometimes those personalities connect naturally and sometimes it takes more time. But when the team is struggling, every small tension suddenly becomes a big story. People say there is a division, that some players are isolating others, that there are groups inside the dressing room. I don’t want to feed those headlines too much, but I will say this: footballers understand body language better than anyone. We know when chemistry is natural and when it is forced. We know when confidence is fully there and when it is not. At the same time, I didn’t come here expecting everyone to become my best friend. I came here to compete, to win trophies and to help bring success to this club. That requires professionalism from everybody, including me. I also know that because of who I am, situations around me become bigger than normal. If I celebrate quietly, it becomes a story. If a teammate doesn’t react a certain way, it becomes a story. That is the reality of being at Madrid and being in my position. What matters to me now is staying focused, continuing to work, and proving things on the pitch. In difficult moments, people reveal their mentality. Some move closer together, others become distant. That’s football. But in the end, the only thing that can truly fix tension inside a big club is winning together.”
