Been told so many times to make my Magical Girl meets Roller Derby coming of age series NOT queer, & it just made me more determined to create "WHEELS & ROSES". The amount of homophobia in our current media landscape is NOT ok. Queer kiddos deserve to have their own stories.

Making comics isn’t cheap. There’s no pile of money waiting for you at the end of the process. Pretty much every cent you’ll earn goes back into the production. So when you see an indie comic out there, going for issue after issue, you know it’s someone who just loves comics.
