Currently Pumpfun is deservedly facing a tidal wave of lawsuits from a number law firms/ plaintiffs- all justified- if there’s any justice in this world, they’ll be found guilty and their extracted shekels clawed back. Many in this space don’t understand this may be the “crime cycle” ya- but only in regards to SOME financial crimes, there are still MANY other financial crimes they’ve committed to the detriment of the entire space, but more importantly, the “crime cycle” doesn’t protect them from literally every other crime in existence lmao, all of which Pumpfun has transgressed in some way, shape, or form in their pursuit of destroying the souls and bank accounts of literally everyone in the world. So Pumpfun is facing a barrage of lawsuits with extremely bad odds for them- and meanwhile, their leadership has learned absolutely nothing, changed absolutely nothing- and it would seem still have no idea what a RICO case even is. Jeets has been one of the largest offenders of the claims in the lawsuits- they’re also conveniently related to Pumpfun leadership/ nepotistic, talentless, and simply are allowed to have a voice in this space because Pumpfun wants their own family/ loyalists to replace CT natives. Pumpfun ensures their brothers/ sisters/ cousins/ etc maintain relevance by sending them enough insider information to fleece their users and egotistically parade around dunking on people. I can’t even make a shitpost without Jeets immediately seizing the chance to weaponize and distort a lie against me- as a call for others to attack. (I’ve never shared a 10k mc coin on the timeline ever, not once lol. I think the lowest coin I’ve shared in 3 years has been 200k) I truly have no idea what their gameplan is, but I would be shocked if a few years from now, we didn’t come to think of Pumpfun as FTX2.0. The wheels are in motion, and every day they accelerate and solidify that conclusion. Can’t come soon enough man. Burn it down along with their army of scammers they’ve hired and trained to drill us for eternity.

I’m not an expert on this stuff tbf - BUT I had all the same apprehensions and questions you and others do - so I’ve spent some time looking into it and speaking to people. Like it made no sense to me - how is Burwick a thing if theres no convictions - And yes that’s my understanding - is a lot of these law firms and legal structures all work together to some extent and share the information / resources they have. Burwick is focused on financial restitution for their victims/ lawsuits / etc - The way it was explained to me was that the process of conviction for civil lawsuits can take a lifetime. 5-10 years plus - and that also means the victims aren’t just subjected to whatever victimization led them to sue - but now they have to deal with this for years of their lives - So my understanding is that when it comes to the *civil* lawsuits for financial compensation, they almost always always settle But the *criminal* legal cases are pursued separately - and any info Burwick or others have is pushed forward to those seperate pursuits After speaking to some people my impression was actually that Burwick is a well respected lawfirm that has been highly effective - just - at their niche I fucking hate that I’ve even had to learn about this stuff but it is what it is - would have rather been trenching lol

Id like to read such a thread, would love legal docs even more tho lol. And I understand burwick always settles, they have never won a case right? Maybe this makes sense (they do civil settlements and pass of criminal ones) but are there any cases of criminal ones being brought to trial after being passed off by burwick? Interested to learn more about this puzzle just not sure it exists maybe I can dig myself

Ya I’d be down - Burwick is only one of a couple. It would take some time to get into but I should probably make a post soon why not That being said - just to clarify since I see a lot of confusion/ misunderstandings about Burwick - While they are goofy and there’s a lot regarding them to question my impression based on convos is that they’re actually a real law firm with real results and connections. I’m still not sure why they’ve chosen the more unprofessional/ memetic brand or why they’ve chosen to pursue many of the other lawsuits that feel dumb/ empty to me - But for any matter they seem to have a lot of successes under their belt and a good track record. From what I understand Burwick focuses on settlements for their clients - whether individuals or class actions - And then shares whatever findings they have on the criminal side with other parties who handle those specifically So this appears like they don’t have convictions and are shit at their job - when really they have been highly succesful- the companies typically settle civil cases (Burwicks focus I believe) And then other law firms/ entities focus on the criminal. I could be totally fucking this explanation up - but the point is - Burwick is actually not as retsrded as it seems based on the surface level chatter. From what I gather they are just one piece of the puzzle - there’s a bunch of legal torpedos aimed at pump- deservedly

Decentralization in its current unwavering/ stubborn/ inflexible form that this industry insists upon- tooth and nail- is stupid. If you really think about it, the only reason that default stance has gotten so much reinforcement is because everything being decentralized has been an added layer of security/ culpable deniability from the potential legal consequences resultant from the lack of clear regulation. But this whole vibe of everyone in a position of leadership/ power pretending they are blind to their own ecosystems/ “businesses” while people get fucked over or massive issues go ignored- just to not be later inconvenienced is for the birds. It’s prohibitive to the vast majority of high value business/ talent/ retail etc. Crime cycle over- time for accountability and problem solving cycle.
