Ligate Chain v0.4.0 is live on ligate-devnet-3. The headline: an on-chain bounty and contract marketplace. Two new primitives that turn "prove what AI did" into "get paid to prove what AI did." Bounties pay for evidence. Contracts pay for delivered work. Both escrow AVOW on chain, both settle without a middleman. Receipts, with a price tag attached.

On the Themisra roadmap: Daily Prompt Challenges and leaderboards. Show up, take the day's prompt, get a receipt, climb the board. The leaderboard isn't a score we made up, it's your on-chain attestation history doing the talking. Reputation you earn one signed prompt at a time.

Coming to Themisra: AI Battles. Two prompts, same task, head to head, and every round is attested on chain. Not vibes about who prompts better. A verifiable record of who actually did. Bragging rights you can prove. We're building it.

Also new in v0.4.0: contracts. Work-for-hire, on chain, with an escrow that doesn't play favorites. A buyer locks a pool of AVOW and names an arbiter. A worker commits, delivers, and gets paid on acceptance. If the buyer disappears, the worker still gets paid once the clock runs out. Getting ghosted is no longer a business risk.

Soon, clicking Attest in Themisra is going to feel less like filing paperwork and more like a streak you don't want to break. Reputation that compounds with every receipt. Unlocks at milestones. A cash kicker when a buyer's bounty matches what you just signed. Steam achievements energy, except the achievements are real provenance and sometimes they pay.

New on Ligate: bounties. You want evidence of something (verified-human text, an adverse-event report, a checked fact). You escrow AVOW and post a bounty. People produce the attestations, the chain pays them per claim, automatically, from your escrow. It's a buyer posting demand for proof, and proof showing up to collect. Live on devnet now.

Themisra is for the people who'll one day be asked "prove the AI generated that, and not you." Freelancers. Law firms. Newsrooms. Compliance teams staring down the EU AI Act. Anyone whose work passes through a model and might need a paper trail. One receipt answers it. What, who, when. Try it: app.themisra.xyz

Every App Store developer wishes this had been true for the App Store. On Ligate Chain, schema authors set a fee_routing_bps (up to 50%) at registration. From the next block forward, every attestation under that schema pays them the bps share. No application, no listing fee, no inflation. The chain enforces the split at state-transition time. Already shipped, since v0.3. ligate.io/blog/build-a-s…

The Ligate Chain consensus paper is on arXiv. Proof of Useful Attestation. 62 pages, cs.CR primary, cs.DC and cs.GT cross-lists. Formal cost-to-grind floor (Lemma 1), six-layer defense, reference simulator across the named adversary models. 4-10x cost-to-attack premium over equivalent pure-stake at steady state. arXiv endorsement by Jiangshan Yu (University of Sydney, original co-author of RepuCoin) arxiv.org/abs/2605.25844

Why a fresh devnet for a rename? The token symbol change is wire-breaking, genesis JSON shape, REST endpoint paths, error types. Easier to roll the network than to migrate state.

ligate-devnet-2 is live on Celestia Mocha. The LGT → AVOW rename is state-breaking, so the public devnet rolled to a fresh boot. Same operators, same 1B AVOW initial distribution, same Mocha DA. Update your chain_id pins. ligate.io/devnet

EU AI Act Article 50: gen-AI outputs must be machine-readable as AI-generated. The compliance interpretation has not been written yet. by 2027 every prod LLM output will need some form of cryptographic provenance attached. attestation layers are not optional. they are next.

if you could put a single thing onchain as a verified receipt, what would it be? we are picking the wildest answer in the replies and writing the schema spec for it next week.
